Take to the Skies
When my family came to visit during spring break, we took a day and drove up to Tillamoock and visited the Air Museum there. I'm not sure what was more fascinating, the collection of aircraft, or the hanger in which they were housed. If you are not familiar with this museum, the hanger is one that was built during WWII that housed blimps used during the war. Hence, the building is HUGE!
Another amazing fact, all of the aircraft housed there are still air-worthy except one.
We all had a great time, and Ella loved the freedom of the large space. She even looked the part of a mini-airman since she was wearing her camo pants and puffy vest.

Daddy's Girl
The first Saturday of every month, Home Depot has a kids workshop from 9:00-11:00. We just happened to walk into it this month, and we now have it marked on our calendar! We didn't take our camera to Home Depot - I'm not that fanatical about finding the perfect picture moment - so we don't have pics of Ella doing the original work, but here are a few of her after we got home. You can see that she built a planter box. The workshop is free, but because we are suckers for Ella's handywork, we had to buy some flowers to plant in it (great marketing by Home Depot).

Easter Celebration
I admit, it's taken me a while to get this posted, but I had so many great things to share with everyone that I wanted to make this video to capture it all.
Our Easter weekend started off with lots of friends and lots of sunshine. Then we had some family come visit - hooray! - but, unfortunately, the sunshine did not stick around for long. Fortunately, we Oregonians are accustomed to finding activities for the indoors.
Enjoy the show!
