We have had a few dry days, so we decided it was a great time to get the lights up on the house. In Oregon, we have to take advantage of dry weather when it happens. We typically wait until after Thanksgiving to break out the Christmas decor, but like I said, we had to take advantage of the weather. We are even going to start decorating inside the house this weekend! Our rational for this is simply, "What the heck." :-) Ella has been watching
Polar Express and getting ready for Santa since the first of October, and we are going to be busy/out of town the entire week of Thanksgiving. So, "what the heck," lets deck the halls now!

Don't worry, you can help us do our tree if you want and then its like you did yours over Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see you!
Riiight, "take advantage of the dry weather." (wink, wink) I have been dying to decorate too, and I think I have Scott convinced that we can do it for family night next Monday. Thanksgiving is just way too late this year!
Okay Jana, you're right. We are all just to excited for Christmas that we decided to break out the festivities!
You are making me feel pretty lazy right now. I have no energy to get busy decorating, just yet. Maybe while you're here you can help us decorate too. After all, you don't want Santa to skip over our house and forget Michelle and Ryker.
Those house looks great! Dave is working on our outside lights as I'm writing this - and we want to decorate the inside tomorrow. I just want to come home from Thanksgiving in Idaho with a house all decked out for Christmas!
Very impressive. I will have to show Steve this post. We have a similar problem...although we have to avoid the snow and ice.
How is your Christmas shopping coming?
